Science class was extra exciting on August 23rd, as the 1st and 2nd grade students from Ms. Brown’s and Mrs. Moreno’s classes joined together for a special review on solids and liquids. The teachers reminded everyone that solids have a fixed shape, while liquids flow and take the shape of their containers. To wrap up their review, the students got to try a fun experiment. Using coffee creamer, sugar, and ice, they shook the container until the liquid mixture began to freeze. With excitement and teamwork, the children watched as their liquid turned into a solid—delicious homemade ice cream!

Exciting News!
Our students are all smiling as they enjoy the brand-new playground! From climbing, sliding, and running, the laughter and energy fill the air. This new space provides our children with a safe and enjoyable environment to play, explore, and form friendships.
Play is an important part of learning, and we’re thrilled to see our students creating memories that will last a lifetime. Here’s to many more days of fun on the playground!

Today's CCMS Hawks vs. Early County softball game has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Congratulations to our Lady Hawks on their recent victories against STEM Charter on Monday and Early County last Wednesday. They will travel to Early County today for another exciting matchup. Game time is 4:30 PM, come out and show your support for the Lady Hawks!

Ms. Peterson's 3rd grade class started the year off determining the value of base-ten numerals. The students had a chance to build base-ten robots and were able to tell the value of their robots!
